Applications for Re-entry visas to be by post only

The Irish Naturalisation and Immigration Service (INIS) have advised that, as of September 3, 2018, they will cease the online appointments service for applications for re-entry visas, with the exception of emergency re-entry visa online appointments. From September 3, all applications for re-entry visas will be received through the registered post postal system only. You are advised to submit postal applications 5 to 6 weeks prior to travel.
