Closure of Grafton College, Dublin

Posted on

ICOS regrets to hear through the media this morning that the future of the English Language study provider, Grafton College, is in doubt.  This is a very upsetting development for all the international students who are currently enrolled in Grafton College or who had paid money towards future courses.  However, we are reassured that learner protection arrangements are in place for all students enrolled in Grafton College through Marketing English in Ireland (MEI).

MEI’s helpline for students is info@mei.ie and its announcement about the closure is here https://mei.ie/graftoncollegestudents/

ICOS also regrets the distress and financial hardship which the closure of Grafton College is bound to cause to the teachers and administrative staff of the college, and support calls for improved employment conditions for English language teachers.

We will monitor the situation closely and provide updates on the situation as it evolves. We will also continue to offer advice and support to students who are uncertain about their entitlements. Contact us at https://www.internationalstudents.ie/contact or by phone at (01) 6605233.
