INIS Update: Changes to Evidence of Finance requirements for Non-EEA Students

With effect from 1st September 2016, the immigration service (INIS) has announced changes regarding evidence of finances for all Non EEA students on first registration:

Visa required students who obtained a study visa to enter to Ireland will no longer be obliged to present evidence of finance.

There are also new options for non visa required students which include foreign bank statements or a pre-paid credit or debit card with a verification of the amount in credit.
